MOSCOW, Idaho – Idaho women's tennis and head coach Sanne Louwers announced the signing of transfer Rachelle Starreveld for the 2022-23 season.

Starreveld, a Bergschenhoek, Netherlands native, joins the Vandals after competing at Valdosta State for the past three seasons. Competing across five positions, she held a 12-9 singles record in dual action and a 10-2 mark in conference play. In doubles, Starreveld posted a 13-11 overall record and went 9-3 in league action.
  
"We are incredibly fortunate to add Rachelle to the Vandal family," Louwers said. "She is the last piece that this team was missing. Rachelle is a strong player that comes with a lot of match play experience and she will bring leadership, and a competitive edge that this team needs." 

Starreveld not only found success on the court but as well as in the classroom, earning Gulf South Conference Academic Honor Roll three years in a row (2020-22). She plans to major in pre-physical therapy when arriving in the fall.
