MOSCOW, Idaho - The Vandal Soccer team (7-4-2) heads to Cheney, Washington to take on the Eastern Washington Eagles (1-3-1) for their last road game of regular conference. The game will be broadcast on ESPN+ on Sunday at 1:00 p.m. PST.

ABOUT IDAHO: Idaho soccer continued with conference play this last week falling to Portland State, 2-1 (4-0-1) but coming out of the weekend victorious over Sacramento State, 1-0 (2-2-1).  

The Vandals lost on the road at Portland State. The only goal for Idaho was scored by senior Alyssa Peters. The goal was Peters' first career goal in her 59^th appearance as a Vandal.

Later in the weekend, the Vandals found victory over Sacramento State with a goal by Jadyn Hanks, assisted by Karli Yoshida-Williams. The final was 1-0 as the Vandals finished up their road trip.

ABOUT EASTERN: The Eagles also played Portland State and Sacramento State this past weekend. Eastern lost to both teams going 0-1 at Sacramento and 2-5 against Portland. The team's two goals this weekend were scored by sophomore, Delani Walker and senior Corina Froehle, who was assisted by sophomore Chloe Pattison.

Eastern's scoring is led by senior Maddie Morgan who last season started all 18 games for the Eagles. Morgan has scored 13 goals in the last 14 games for the Eagles.

Idaho's record against the Eagles is 16-13-1, going 9-4-1 at home, 5-9-0 away and 2-0-0 at neutral sites. The Vandals faced Eastern once last year adding a second win to the winning streak. One of the goals scored was by returner Jadyn Hanks assisted by Margo Schoesler.
