SACRAMENTO, Calif. - Vandal Cross Country closed out the season this morning after competing at the NCAA Division I West Regional in Sacramento, Calif. The Idaho men finished in 18th with 474 points and the women in 22nd with 626.
Senior
Lorenz Herrmann placed 69th in the men's 10K at 30:41.5.
Sam Fulbright followed just two spots back at 71st at a 30:47.9 mark while
Tim Stevens finished in 82nd (31:02.3).
The Vandal women were led by
Katja Pattis who finished the 6K in 45th with a time of 20:36.0.
Leah Holmgren crossed the tape 105th with a time of 21:13.9 and freshman
McKenna Kozeluh finished 131st at 21:40.5.
The Stanford men finished first with 73 points after also winning the PAC-12 Championship two weeks prior. The Stanford women also took first-place honors with 77 points.
The Vandals open the indoor season with the Spokane Sports Showcase (Jan. 12) and Spokane Indoor Challenge (Jan. 12-13) at the Podium.
