PHARR, Texas -- Idaho women's swimming and diving concluded their final day of the WAC Championships, finishing seventh in the team standings on Saturday night at the Pharr Natatorium.
Sophomore
Ella Haskins was a bright spot for the Vandals in the 100-yard freestyle, scoring 13 points for Idaho with a sixth-place (50.57) finish. Freshman
Maddy Butler came in ninth place (51.10) in the consolation finals to add nine more points for the Vandals.
Senior
Holly Keir posted the fastest time for the Vandals in the 200-yard breaststroke consolation final, finishing 10th with a time of 2:17.91. Freshman
Cadence Gabel took 16th overall with a time of 2:21.30.
In the 1650-yard freestyle, junior
Zoe Froh added six points to the Vandals team score after racing her way to an 11th overall finish with a time of 17:15.85.
Sophomore
Taylor Wassel competed in the 200-yard butterfly finishing 12th (2:04.42) while senior teammate
Ani Husaby posted a 15th-place finish with a time of 2:06.28.
The final swimming event to conclude the WAC Championships was the 400 freestyle relay, where the Idaho team of Butler, Haskins,
Rylie Jones and
Grace Ruble took fifth with a time of 3:23.60 to close out the final day.
