MOSCOW, Idaho – Three Vandals earned Phil Steele Preseason All-American honors and 13 Idaho players were named to the Preseason Phil Steele All-Big Sky teams, the organization announced Friday as part of the release of its FCS Preseason Preview Magazine.
Hayden Hatten was named a First-Team Preseason All-American coming off his record-setting 2022 season for the Vandals. His twin brother,
Hogan Hatten, was named to the All-American Second Team as a long snapper.
Marcus Harris earned Fourth-Team All-American recognition at defensive back.

Hogan Hatten and Harris all earned Big Sky Preseason First-Team honors and were joined by running back
Anthony Woods, receiver
Jermaine Jackson and kicker
Ricardo Chavez on the first team.
Murvin Kenion III earned Second-Team All-Big Sky honors at DB. Jerry Rice Award Winner
Gevani McCoy was named to the third team along with transfer linebacker
Tre Thomas. Jackson picked up third-team punt return and kickoff return honors to go with his first-team receiver nod.
Sean McCormick was named to the third team as an all-around player.
Ayden Knapik and
Elijah Sanchez earned fourth-team offensive line recognition and transfer defensive tackle
Jahkari Larmond earned fourth-team recognition for the defensive line.
The Vandals open fall camp on Monday, July 31st ahead of the season opener at Lamar University in Beaumont, Texas, on Aug. 31.
