MOSCOW, Idaho - Hayden Hatten and
Marcus Harris were honored on the Stats Perform 2023 FCS Preseason All-American Team, Presented by FedEx Ground, the organization announced Tuesday.
Hatten, a 2022 Consensus All-American earned first-team honors while Harris, a first-team All-Big Sky First Team honoree was named to the Third Team.
Hatten, the Big Sky Conference Preseason Offensive MVP, is coming off a record-setting season that saw him set the Idaho single-season touchdown record (16) and single-game touchdown record (4). He now has 24 career touchdowns, just three short of Jerry Hendren's Vandal record of 27.
He finished with 1,209 yards last season, fourth all-time on the school record list. He earned Preseason All-Big Sky honors to go with his Offensive MVP recognition.
Harris, also on the Big Sky Conference Preseason Team, was a Hero Sports Sophomore All-American last year. He had two defensive touchdowns, two interceptions and 14 total passes defended last season.
The Vandals opened fall camp on Monday in preparation for the season opener on August 31, against Lamar University on the road in Beaumont, Texas.
