Student-Athlete Support Services

Stacey Hyde Named Student-Athlete Academics Coordinator

MOSCOW, Idaho – University of Idaho Associate Athletic Director for Student-Athlete Support Services, Thad Hathaway announced the hire of Stacey Hyde on Friday afternoon.

"I would like to both congratulate and welcome Stacey to our Student-Athlete Support Services unit in this new role," said Hathaway. "We are fortunate to have someone like Stacey guiding and supporting our student-athletes in their academic pursuits."

The Las Vegas native started with the Vandals as a Student-Athlete Support Services graduate assistant in 2021 before earning the full time position this fall. Hyde will be the primary academics coordinator for the women's soccer team.

Hyde is currently in the process of obtaining a master's in teaching with an emphasis on mathematics from the University of Idaho.

Hyde is the perfect fit for working with student-athletes because she has been in their shoes. She played five years of college volleyball with two years at Snow College and the final three seasons at Southern Utah University. At Southern Utah, she graduated with a bachelor's degree in mathematics education.

She is joined in Moscow by her newlywed husband, Luke.
