Box Score SEATTLE, Wash. -- The Idaho men's tennis team (0-1) opened the spring season with a 7-0 loss at Washington (1-0) on the road Sunday afternoon.
Washington won on courts one and two to take the doubles point.
Alex Asenov and
Sebastian Medica trailed 5-6 at No. 3 before the match went unfinished.
In singles play, the Vandals dropped all six singles matches.
Matteo Masala battled against Ivan Sodan on court five, dropping a tightly contested first set by way of a tiebreak before falling, 5-7 in the second to close out play in Seattle.
