Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 | Box Score 3 BOISE, Idaho – Idaho men's tennis (4-10) closed out the Boise State Spring Fling Tournament with a 5-0 victory over Eastern Washington on Saturday afternoon at the Eagle Tennis Center. 

The win marked Idaho's second win of the season over the Eagles and wrapped up a three-match weekend, where the Vandals went 1-2. UI fell to Montana on Friday and No. 69 Utah State on Saturday morning.

Idaho dueled against Montana for the second time this season and was unable to complete the season sweep. The Grizzlies won two doubles matches and three singles competitions to complete a 4-0 win.

The second day of competition saw Idaho fall to the No. 69 ranked Utah State, 4-0.

The Vandals closed out the weekend on top with a 5-0 win over Eastern Washington on Saturday afternoon. 

Doubles competition saw Idaho get the job done on courts one and three. Francisco Gay and Mario Duron delivered a 6-2 victory at No. 3 while Alex Asenov and Sebastian Medica posted a 6-3 result at No. 1. 

Taiyo Kurata made it 2-0 Idaho after a straight-set victory on court two. The sophomore won 6-3, 6-3 over EWU's Drew Dillon. Gay quickly followed with a 6-4, 6-4 decision over Tyler Waddock at No. 1. 

Asenov and Duron posted simultaneous match points to complete match play. Asenov received the clinch with a 1-6, 6-2, 6-1 comeback victory at No. 6 while Duron finished with a 6-3, 6-3 win on court three.
