FARMINGTON, Utah - Idaho freshman
Ida Johansson earned her first career Big Sky Women's Tennis Player of the Week honor after posting a perfect 2-0 record in a win over Weber State.
Johansson's performance led Idaho to a 5-2 road win over the defending Big Sky champions, marking three straight victories for the Vandals and moving Idaho's team record to 9-5 overall. The nine-win mark is the most in a season since 2018-19.

Saffron Dowse started off match play with a 6-4 victory to help secure an early lead for Idaho.
The Sweden native carried her momentum over into singles play, where she put together a 6-4, 7-6 on court four. She improved to 8-4 overall and 3-1 in conference matches.
