MOSCOW, Idaho -- The Idaho volleyball team will travel to Loudonville, New York to compete in its third non-conference tournament. The Siena Saints Invitational fields Siena College, New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT), and Syracuse. 
The Vandals begin tournament play with a match-up against host Siena College on Friday at 2:30 p.m. PT. Idaho will conclude the weekend with two games on Saturday against NJIT (8 a.m. PT) and Syracuse (1 p.m. PT).

ABOUT IDAHO 
The Vandals enter week three with a 0-6 record, falling in the Southern Utah Tournament to UC Riverside (1-3) and Southern Utah (0-3, 0-3). The tournament consisted of junior 
Madu Fontes leading the Vandals for the second straight weekend with a total of 29 kills and 19 digs. 
Ada Isik added 31 digs and 
Emma Patterson totaled eight blocks to lead the Vandals defensively. 
SCOUTING SIENA COLLEGE
The Siena Saints are going into the weekend with a current record of 1-5, coming off the Red Flash Classic Tournament with losses to Mercyhurst (2-3), Penn (2-3), and host Saint Francis (0-3). Senior outside hitter Sara Wagner is leading the Saints offense ranking ninth in the MAAC in kills per set (3.13), seventh in service aces (0.46) and seventh in points per set (3.75). 
SCOUTING NJIT 
NJIT is 2-7 on the season with wins against Le Moyne (3-0) and Sacred Heart (3-2). The Highlander offense is led by Ema Torres and Sara Siefert, who have tallied 74 and 72 kills, respectively. Finely McAndrew sets up the attack with 168 assists. 
SCOUTING SYRACUSE 
Syracuse is going into week three of the season with a record of 6-0. The Orange ranks No. 3 in the ACC in hitting percentage (.288) and No. 2 in opponent hitting percentage (.108). Syracuse is also averaging the third most blocks in the conference (2.98/set) and ranks first in aces with 57.
UP NEXT
The Vandals travel to Valley Falls, South Carolina for the USC Upstate Tournament next weekend (Sept. 20-21). Idaho will face West Georgia and USC Upstate in the two-day event.
