Box Score 2 Moscow, Idaho - The Idaho Vandals took their talents to the Portland Metropolitan Area for a two-day road slate against the George Fox Bruins and the Portland Pilots.
The Vandals had an encouraging start to the season in the doubleheader home-opener, taking home a 6-1 near-sweep of the LC State Warriors and narrowly falling to a strong North Dakota squad, 3-4, in the P1FCU Kibbie Dome.
On Saturday, Idaho came out flying against George Fox, going 3-0 to clinch the doubles point.

After clinching the victory on saturday, the Vandals made their way from Newburg to Portland for their second match in as many days against the host University of Portland, falling to the Pilots 2-5.

Despite the loss, the Vandals pulled in some big moments, with Chetanna Amadike claiming a ranked victory over #109 Nikola Keremedchiev and the doubles pair of Noe de Col and Francisco Gay taking down #98 Keremedchiev and Stefan Skobolev.
The Vandals will return to action in California, taking on St. Marys in Moraga on Saturday, Feb. 8, and Santa Clara University the following day.
