MOSCOW, Idaho - The Vandals battled to a scoreless draw with Montana on Sunday afternoon inside the P1FCU Kibbie Dome.
Idaho started the game pressing high into the front third, with forward
Georgia Whitehead leading the offensive stride by posting two shots on goal. The Vandals continued to challenge Montana, taking six shots total in the first half with four on target, forcing saves from the Montana back line.
With an even 0-0 score at half, both teams entered the second half eager to score. Idaho's defensive line remained strong, with goalkeeper
Paula Flores posting three saves in the final 45 minutes.
The Vandals were able to get off three more shots in the second half, but neither team was able to secure a goal, leaving the score at 0-0. This match marks Idaho's eighth shutout of the year, matching their total from the entire 2024-25 season. Flores stands out nationally, being tied for second place in Division I for shutouts.
