MOSCOW, Idaho - Jake Cox and Abigail Thomas have been selected as the Student-Athletes of the Month for March by Vandal Academia Services, supported by P1FCU.
Cox is a 5th-year Tight End on the Vandal football team, having spent his whole athletic and academic career in Moscow. He is currently pursuing his MBA and maintaining his role in the Idaho Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) while excelling on the football field.
"It has been awesome to see Jake grow into the young man he is today in his schooling and sport," Associate Athletic Director of Student-Support Services Dani Linehan said. "He is motivated and we are excited to see what is next for him."
Thomas is a senior on the Vandals' cross-country and distance squads who, off the track, is maintaining a perfect 4.0 GPA in her Animal and Veterinary Science pursuits. She also maintains a role as an executive member of Idaho SAAC.
"Abigail's hard work to balance her SAAC, academic, athletic, and other commitments exemplify the values of Idaho athletics," said Senior Academic Coordinator Nick Bowers. "Her success is well earned, and inspiring to others."
