MOSCOW, Idaho – The Idaho men's golf team opens the spring season at the Mesquite Desert Classic at the Casablanca Resort in Mesquite, Nevada.
The tournament is the first of seven tournaments in the spring season.
Dalton Dean will play in the top spot in the lineup for the Vandals after a solid fall season.
Joe Sykes will play from the No. 2 spot and
Sam Johnson will be the No. 3 golfer.
Matt McGann will play at No. 4 and
Josh McCartain will play at No. 5.
The course is set up as a par 72 and will play at 7,010 yards. The field will include a strong field of mid-major programs.

The 54-hole tournament is scheduled for three days of one round play. The tournament tees off with a shotgun start at 9 a.m. Sunday.
