MOSCOW, Idaho - After a week off to rest and digest the split weekend in Oregon, Idaho men's tennis is back in action, trading the snow of Moscow for the warmth of sunny California.
The Vandals are scheduled for a pair of contests in a pair of counties in southern CA, first heading to Moraga on Saturday, Feb. 8, to take on St. Mary's College. The Gaels are 0-3 to start the year, with an 0-7 loss to Stanford and a 1-6 and 0-7 loss in a doubleheader with Cal.
Following this, UI will head to Santa Clara County to visit the oldest college in the state, the titular Santa Clara University. The Broncos have had a busy start to the season, already sitting at 3-3 since mid-January. They opened the season with a 6-1 win over fellow Big Sky foe, Sacramento State. Since then, SCU dropped sweeps to Oregon, Kentucky, and Nebraska before getting on track with a 6-1 win over Grand Canyon and a 7-0 sweep of Menlo College.
The match against St. Marys will take place at 1:00 PM on Feb. 8 and the second vs. Santa Clara will commence at 11:00 AM on Feb. 9.
