MOSCOW, Idaho — The Idaho Women's Tennis team has been recognized for its outstanding season with multiple honors in the 2025 All-Big Sky Conference awards.
"I'm incredibly proud of Diana, Annabel, Valentina, Hanna and our doubles team for being recognized for their strong performance this year," said coach Sanne. "This group, works hard, competes hard and combined have won a lot of matches over the past year. They helped put us back as one of the top teams in the conference. This is well deserved and I couldn't be happier for them."
Leading the way was sophomore standout Diana Khaydarshina, who earned a spot on the All-Big Sky Singles First Team for her dominant play throughout the year. Khaydarshina won six of the nine Big Sky matchups this season, predominantly from the No.1 position.
Annabel Davis was named to the All-Big Sky Singles Second Team, further showcasing the depth of the Vandals' roster. Davis held a 6-2 conference record at No.2 and was 9-9 overall in her 2024-25 season.
Hanna Koprowska and Valentina Rodas received All-Big Sky Singles Honorable Mention honors, a testament to their consistent performance and contributions to the team's success. As a freshman Koprowska fought hard at the No. 3 to boast a 4-4 conference record including big wins over Northern Arizona (6-2, 6-4) and Portland State (6-4, 6-2). For Rodas the All-Big Sky Singles Honorable Mentions comes from a successful 14-5 junior campaign.
In doubles action, the duo of Koprowska and Khaydarshina secured a place on the All-Big Sky Doubles Second Team, rounding out an impressive list of accolades for the Vandals. From the No. 3 position this duo came out victorious in all but one match together.
"I've seen this team grow, build, believe, and become more resilient throughout the year. The way they adapt to adversity is truly special. This is a true team that supports each other and plays for each other. We win together and receiving these awards are not just individual wins they are a representation of the team as well," said coach Sanne.
