MOSCOW, Idaho - On Wednesday, the Big Sky Conference announced the annual All-Academic teams for the winter season.
Covering men's basketball, women's basketball, and indoor track and field, the list featured a total of 546 athletes across the conference's ten teams, with 84 nominees earning 4.0 GPAs.
Among this number, Idaho placed 46 total names on the All-Academic list. Men's basketball contributed four players to the list, while the women tallied eight. Track and Field had 34 All-Academic nominees for the indoor season, split evenly among the men and women.
To be eligible for the team, a student-athlete must have met and/or exceeded the following minimum requirements: 1) Participated in at least half of the team's competitions; 2) Achieved a 3.2 cumulative grade point average (on a 4.0 scale) at the conclusion of the most recently completed term; 3) Completed at least one academic term at his/her current Big Sky institution.
