MOSCOW, Idaho – The Idaho Women's Basketball team will be hosting Oral Roberts and traveling to play Denver in the 2025 Big Sky-Summit Challenge.
Idaho will host Oral Roberts on December 3 and will travel to Denver on December 6. Game times will be announced at a later date. This will be the first time the Vandals have played ORU, and Idaho currently holds a 5-0 all-time record against the Pioneers.
The Vandals are 2-0 all-time in the competition. In last season's Big Sky-Summit challenge, the Vandals played one game and recorded a 76-54 win against St. Thomas in Memorial Gym, and recorded a 60-51 victory against Denver in the inaugural contest in 2023-24.
Head Coach
Arthur Moreira and staff have
signed the No. 23 transfer portal class in the country per The Portal Report. Idaho's transfer class is headlined by Debora dos Santos who was rated as one of just 12 five-star student-athletes in the transfer portal. Dos Santos was a First Team All-Conference selection during her time at San Francisco.
Idaho also signed 6'5" post player Lorena Barbosa who signed with the Vandals after previously playing at San Francisco. Niveya Henley, a Seattle native who spent the previous four years at Furman where she earned all-conference accolades, joined the Vandals this offseason, as well.
Kyra Gardner, a versatile 5'11" guard who was previously at Washington State, signed with the Vandals during the portal window, as did combo guard Mary McMorris who was playing at Valdosta State.
