MOSCOW, Idaho - Following their time on the road, the Vandals will return to the P1FCU Kibbie Dome to face in-state rival Boise State on Thursday, Sept.18, at 7 p.m. PT.
​SERIES HISTORY
The notorious Vandals versus Broncos matchup dates back to 1998, with the teams going into their 17th meeting. The last time they battled, the Vandals fell short 1-3 in Boise.
​ABOUT IDAHO
Idaho is coming off two back-to-back close contests, featuring a 0-1 loss against Grand Canyon University and a 0-0 draw when facing CSU Bakersfield. The two games bring their pre-conference record to 3-3-3.
​The Vandal defense has held strong, allowing an average of only 0.86 goals per game, the second-lowest in the Big Sky Conference. Goalkeeper
Paula Flores plays a large role in this success, having posted five shutouts so far this season.
​ABOUT BOISE STATE
Traveling down south, Boise State currently holds a 2-3-3 record, most recently falling to UTEP 0-1 before tying with North Dakota for a 0-0 result.
​The head coach of the Broncos is Jim Thomas, who is entering his 13th season with the team. Boise State has seen success over the previous seasons, leading the Mountain West Conference in 2024.
