MOSCOW, Idaho – In a Sunday afternoon match-up, the Idaho Men's Tennis team fell to Arizona State, 0-7, in the season opener for both teams.
The matchup opened with the battle for the doubles point, where
Mikolaj Lis and
Sander Paradis were able to secure the victory in the No. 2 spot (7-6). In the No. 1 spot
Chetanna Amadike and
Gabriel Moroder fought to bring home the doubles point, but despite their efforts, fell just short (6-7) to the Sun Devils' Kristof Minarik and Milos Mikovic. In the No. 3
Noe De Col and
Paul Janson fell (4-6).
In singles play, the Vandals came in attempting to come from behind but ultimately were unable to string together any momentum, falling to open the spring season.
