Men’s Tennis Tabbed Fourth in Big Sky Preseason Polls

MOSCOW, Idaho - On Wednesday, the Big Sky Conference announced the 2026 Preseason Polls for all men's and women's tennis teams, ranking each squad based on projections for the upcoming year.

Among all eight teams in the league, Idaho Men's Tennis was picked fourth in the standings, receiving 33 points off of votes and tying for the highest preseason projection for the program in the Raleigh Grossbaum era as the head coach enters his third season.

The Vandals notably returned one of the top talents in the conference from last season. Chetanna Amadike got his senior campaign underway after claiming an All-Conference Singles Honorable Mention nod as well as a selection to the second team for doubles. After missing the Big Sky Tournament in the 23-24 season, the men's team returned to claim the #4 seed and knocked off Weber State in the first round of the bracket.

Idaho finished just above the Bobcats of Montana State in the polls and were just edged out by in-state rival Idaho State for third place. Montana received six of the eight first place votes to finish atop the projections, just ahead of Northern Arizona, who had been picked to win the title the previous two seasons.
