Idaho (1-5, 0-0) vs. Lewis-Clark State (0-0, 2-0)
MOSCOW, Idaho – Idaho Men's Tennis is set to continue its homestand in the P1FCU Kibbie Dome, hosting the Lewis-Clark State Warriors on Saturday, Jan. 31.
UI was initially scheduled to host a doubleheader in the dome, but the other scheduled opponent, Oral Roberts, announced that they would forfeit the competition. The Vandals' match vs. The Warriors was consequently adjusted to a 1:00 PM start time.
LC State has played two dual matches thus far, both with common opponents to Idaho. The Warriors fell in a home contest to North Dakota, 1-6, to open their season. The next week, they hosted George Fox and, like their next foe, recorded a 7-0 sweep.
Freshman Leonel Gatti, an Argentina native, has gone 2-0 in singles in the young season, scoring his team's lone point vs. North Dakota in the #6 spot and winning in two sets in the #4 vs. George Fox.
