MOSCOW, Idaho– The Idaho women's tennis team wrapped up an intense tournament in Laramie, Wyo. with matches against Colorado State and Wyoming. The Vandals lost to the Rams on Friday 1-4 and took another hit to the Cowgirls on Sunday 2-5.

The Vandals began the competition weekend against a strong Rams team. The Black and Gold battled hard in doubles play but Colorado State was able to move up on the score sheet and stick out the win for the doubles point. Moving into singles action,
Hanna Koprowska recorded a win for Idaho 7-5 and 6-4.
Ida Johansson was close to securing her own victory in singles, but the match was left unfinished 6-2 and 2-3 at the time of the Ram victory.

The Vandals closed the weekend competing against the host team that proved to be yet another strong opponent. In the singles matches,
Naomi Schraeder delivered a great performance, fighting back from a set down and ultimately beating her opponent 6-3 in two consecutive sets.
Mariam Hatem secured a straight-set victory on court 6, 7–5 and 6–3, over Serina Abriola.

Ida Johansson delivered a brilliant performance, securing a 6-0 victory. Matthews and Schraeder found themselves in a head-to-head tie break match in the doubles position but lost 7-6 (7-4).
