MOSCOW, Idaho - On Friday, the Big Sky Conference announced the 2025-26 Winter All-Academic Team, celebrating student-athletes from each member institution's basketball and indoor track and field programs who took care of business in the classroom while in season. 

545 student-athletes across the conference received the prestigious nomination, and Idaho added the fourth-most individuals to the list with 61 total Vandals being named. Seven men's basketball players, nine from women's hoops, 19 from men's track, and 26 from women's added the award to their shelves. 

"Congratulations to the 545 student-athletes that make up our Winter All-Academic Team for the 2025-26 season," Big Sky Commissioner Tom Wistrcill said. "This group of individuals is setting a fantastic example for both their teammates and classmates and truly stand for what the Big Sky Conference is all about as we continue putting an emphasis on every career concluding with a diploma in hand."

To be eligible for the All-Academic team, a student-athlete must have met and/or exceeded the following minimum requirements: 1) Participated in at least half of the team's competitions; 2) Achieved a 3.2 cumulative grade point average (on a 4.0 scale) at the conclusion of the most recently completed term; 3) Completed at least one academic term at his/her current Big Sky institution. For Indoor Track & Field student-athletes, they must have participated in at least half of the team's competitions or competed at the Conference Championship Meet.
