MOSCOW, Idaho - Idaho Volleyball is set to return to the court for summer workouts in time for the 2026 season, and the schedule has been lined up as the Vandals look to build on momentum gained in the 2025 campaign. The team showed clear signs of growth throughout the year and has its eyes set on a return to the Big Sky Tournament for the first time since 2020.
Vandal fans will have their first opportunity to see the black and gold in action on Saturday, Aug 15, when they will face off with regional rival Washington State in an exhibition in Bohler Gym. First serve is set for 5:00 PM PT. Idaho will make its home debut on August 22nd vs. Spokane Community College at 3:00 PM PT in Memorial Gym, following that exhibition up with the program's fourth-annual free kids clinic, available to kids up to fourth grade.

The 2026 season will feature a new-look conference as Utah Tech joins the Big Sky and Southern Utah returns from a five-season stint in the WAC. Sacramento State will compete in the Big West in 2026.

The Vandals will open the season at the Mizzou Invitational, hosted by Missouri. The Tigers' head coach, Dawn Sullivan, is the mother of current Idaho senior Sarah Sullivan.

With palpable excitement for a season fast approaching, head coach Romana Redondo Kriskova knows that the team will face the year head-on.
"We are fired up to announce our non-conference schedule," said Redondo Kriskova. "Even though it's four weekends on the road, we have great competition ahead of us that will test us, prepare us, develop us, and help us grow. We believe that putting our athletes in pressure situations will continue to help us build the mindset required to succeed at the highest level. Our senior and captain, Sarah Sullivan, will get to play at home against her mom, Dawn Sullivan, at Missouri. It's pretty phenomenal to be able to compete against your family while having the rest of your family cheering you on, where you grew up playing and started the dream of college volleyball. The season can't come soon enough."
