2014 Outdoor: Kearns was a member of the 2014 Western Athletic Conference Championship team…finished 11 in the 800m preliminary round at the competition with a career-best time of 1:57.41… won the 800m at the Vandal Jamboree with a time of 2:01.43… and placed third at the Sam Adams Classic with a time of 1:59.12.

2014 Indoor: Kearns earned Second-Team All-WAC honors for his sixth-place finish in the 800m with a career-best time of 1:55.10… was a member of the 2014 Western Athletic Conference Championship team…and finished third at the WSU Open II with a time of 1:56.54. 

High School: Lake Oswego High School… Cross Country Track and Field team captain.

Personal: Phillip Justin Kearns…Son of Jean Heinen and David Kearns…Born January 9, 1995…Two siblings, Paula and Nora…Intends on majoring in Physics here at the University of Idaho.
