The Vandals fell 4-0 in the final of the BSU Spring Break Classic. Idaho lost to the Broncos 4-3 on Thursday but won matches against Ball State, Cornell and College of Idaho last weekend.

"Boise is a very strong team and tough to play at their place," Idaho Director of Tennis Jeff Beaman said. "The second place finish in a strong tournament was nice but I really wish we could have capitalized on a second shot at BSU."

Idaho, 17-6 (1-3 WAC), travel to Hawaii this weekend for conference showdowns with Hawaii and Utah State.

"To beat that strong a team we need everybody to show up and play well," Beaman said. "Looking towards this weekend we have two very important matches with Utah St and Hawaii both for conference standing and for improving our national ranking."

The Vandals square off against Hawaii Pacific and Utah State on Friday before concluding their conference schedule against Hawaii on Sunday.
