MOSCOW, Idaho – The non-conference portion of the schedule is slowly winding down, with Idaho (3-3) hosting UC Davis (5-3) at 7 p.m. in Memorial Gym on Saturday night.  Fans with their ticket stubs from that afternoon's football game can gain entrance to the basketball game for just $5.

PREVIEW: Idaho has dropped two straight, against Sam Houston State and San Jose State.  Last time out, the Vandals hit a tough stretch in the closing minutes against the Spartans of San Jose State and could not recover, eventually falling by nine.
 
UC Davis last competed in the Great Alaskan Shootout.  There, the Aggies went 1-2 with a win over Drake.  UC Davis lost to Oakland and fellow Big Sky school Weber State on the trip.
 
MATCHUP: Idaho is 6-0 all-time against UC Davis, including a 68-51 win over the Aggies to close out non-conference play last season.  Perrion Callandret was tremendous on that night, leading the Vandals with 18 points.  Arkadiy Mkrtychyan and Victor Sanders added 12 points each.
 
STAT LINE DIFFERENCE: Idaho's three wins have been eerily similar.  In all three, Idaho shot better than 40 percent from the floor and beyond the arc.  Idaho also recorded 10-plus assists in all three wins and committed fewer than 15 turnovers.  Idaho failed to hit those marks in all three losses.
