SPOKANE, Wash.—Both the Idaho men's and women's tennis teams are in action on the road on Saturday. The men are set for a tilt with Gonzaga, while the women will play its first Big Sky match of the season at Portland State.
The Vandal men are back in action after 1-1 start to the season. Idaho swept Whitman College to open the spring. The team suffered a 6-1 win at Portland. Freshman

Mark Kovacs have been impressive early on in doubles play. The pair have a 2-0 start to the season in the No. 1 positon. The team of
Lucas Coutinho and
Esteban Santibanez also have a 2-0 start in No. 2 doubles.
The Idaho women will play two matches this weekend. The 2016 Big Sky champions open their title defense with Portland State on Saturday. Idaho opened the season with a tough 6-1 loss against Wyoming. Freshman
Jessica Brzozowska earned her first win of the season in No. 3 doubles. She missed the fall season, joining the team for the spring semester.
The women will stay in Portland on Sunday, taking on the University of Portland.
