LAS VEGAS, Nev. – Competition concluded at the UNLV Invite on Saturday, with Idaho falling to Texas Tech in three sets. The Vandals finish the weekend 1-2 and move to 3-6 on the season, while Texas Tech moves to 6-4.
Kennedy Warren had a great match, hitting a career-best .476 and finishing with 12 kills. Redshirt freshman
Emily Smith recorded 10 kills on the day,
Hailey Pelton recorded 27 assists and
Delaney Hopen led the Vandals with 14 digs.
The first set was a tight one, but Texas Tech eventually came out on top, 25-23. The Red Raiders got better as the match went on, winning the second 25-21 and the third 25-19.
