MOSCOW, Idaho – The University of Idaho Men's Tennis team take on the Lewis Clark State Warriors at 4 p.m. on Friday in Lewiston, Idaho. The match will take place in Lewiston but will be considered a home match for the Vandals.
Idaho enters the contest 1-2 on the season with losses to Portland and Utah, and a win over Utah State.
The Warriors are 0-2 to begin the 2020 season with losses to Idaho State and Colorado Mesa.
For the Vandals,
Francisco Bascon leads the way so far. Bascon has played in the number one singles and doubles spot during all three matches this season. Bascon fell to Franco Capalbo of Utah but defeated Utah State's Sergiu Bucur in the number one singles matches. Bascon fell short to Portland in the number one spot last time out.

Esteban Santibanez have played in the number one doubles spot during all three matches this season. The pair defeated Randy Cory and Rusell Benkaim of Utah 6-3 before taking down Utah State's Sergiu Bucur and Roko Savin 6-3. The duo most recently fell to Tom Hann and Kostya Nesterenko of Portland, 6-3.
Following two weeks off, the Vandals will play three straight matches in Lewiston beginning with LCSC. Next weekend the Vandals will host George Fox and Whitman College.
