LEWISTON, Idaho— The Idaho men's tennis team (5-4, 1-0), picked up their first Big Sky win of the season, defeating Weber State 4-3.
Weber State won all three doubles matches to take the point and lead the match 1-0.
The Wildcats went ahead 3-0 in the match after winning the No. 4 and No. 1 singles matches. The Vandals battled back with four consecutive singles wins to take the match 4-3.
Senior
Esteban Santibanez recorded the first point for the Vandals with a 7-5, 6-4 win over Bo-Han Li in the No.4 spot.
Guilherme Scarpelli won the second singles match of the night for Idaho, defeating Brendan Barr 6-7, 7-6 ,6-4 in the No. 5 spot.
Althaf Dhaifullah tied the match 3-3 with his win in the No. 2 spot, 1-6, 6-2, 7-6, over Arthur Serafim.
Vivek Ramesh clinched the match win for the Vandals in the No. 6 spot, defeating Cezary Walkusz 4-6, 6-2, 6-2.

Daniel Hangstefer. "The guys showed really good resilience as they came back from down 0-3. It was some great tennis and a lot of fun to watch!"
