Vandals fall to Weber State

Box Score LEWISTON, Idaho—The University of Idaho Women's tennis fell to Weber State, 6-1, in conference play.

The Vandals won the first doubles match as Laura Spataro and Maggie Chen recorded another doubles win, defeating Caitlin Herb and Ana Morett Salas, 6-4. Idaho however would lose, the other two matches and the point.

Freshman Nicole Horacek recorded her second win of the season in the match. Horacek scored the only point for the Vandals with a 7-5, 5-7, 8-6, win over Lloyd in the No. 6 spot.

"Weber played really well," said Head Coach Babar Akbar. " They have a solid lineup and are a team to watch out for. Our girls fought hard, but they were too good for us."

The Vandals return to action tomorrow against Southern Utah at 1 p.m.in Lewiston.
