FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. - The Idaho dive team competed at the Lumberjack Invite hosted by Northern Arizona University over the weekend.
Sophomore
Emily Mack led the way for the Vandals with a second place finish in the 1-meter dives with a score of 296.5. She placed fifth in the 3-meter dives with a score of 266.90. Mack was also the top scoring Vandal in the platform dives with a score of 224.75 to finish third overall.
Allison Shimp placed seventh in the 3-meter dives with a score of 261.55. She took ninth in the platform dives 167.25 and placed 11th in the prelims and quarterfinals on th 1-meter (231.80)
Hailey Faith won the consolation 3-meter with a score of 263.65 and finished second the 1-meter consolation with a score of 242.40.
Cheyanne Posey finished fourth in the 1-meter consolation (227.65) and 14th in the 3-meter prelims with a score of 206.20)
WHAT'S AHEAD
The Vandals will be competing in the Vandal Invite from December 3rd – 5th at the UI Swim Center in Moscow. The event is a USA Swimming meet, so no fans will be able to attend.
Following the Vandal Invite, Idaho will have a break from competition until January, when they make the short trek to Pullman in a two-day event with Washington State and Seattle University on January 15th & 16th.
