Box Score LEWISTON, Idaho — The University of Idaho men's tennis team earned their second win of the season, 7-0 over Lewis Clark State Saturday afternoon.

To begin the match, Idaho won all three doubles matches, taking the doubles point.

Francisco Bascon and Matteo Masala earned their second doubles win of the season, defeating William Bruchard and Itaru Kiruchi, 6-4, in the No. 1 spot.

Althaf Dhaifullah and Bruno Casino earned their second doubles win of the season defeating Marcus Gavelin and Andre Duplessis,6 -2, in the No. 2 spot.

In No. 3 doubles Alexander Asenov and Alejandro Salvador earned their first doubles win of the season, defeating Andy Wu and Gunnar Harlan, 6-1.

After taking the doubles point, the Vandals won all six singles matches.

Bascon earned his third singles win of the season in the No. 1 spot.

Dhaifullah earned his second win of the season, winning 6-2, 6-4, in the No. 2 match.

In the No. 3 spot Casino won 6-0, 6-1 for his third singles win this season.

Masala picked up his second singles win of the season, 6-1,6-2 in the No. 4 match.

Salvador added his second singles win as a Vandal, 6-1,6-2 in the No. 5 match.

Vivek Ramesh picked up his first win of the season, 6-1, 6-0 in the No. 6 spot.

"We did a good job of keeping our intensity up throughout the match. Looking forward to getting back to the practice courts to continue focusing on cleaning up a few details," said Head Coach Daniel Hangstefer. "Overall, this was a good day!"
