HOUSTON – Idaho swimming and diving concluded its final day at the Western Athletic Conference Championships, finishing sixth in the team standings on Saturday.
Ani Husaby delivered 11 team points for Idaho after recording an eighth-place finish in the 200-yard backstroke final. 
Kaling Phung also scored for the Vandals in the event, placing sixth in the B final with a time of 2:04.69. 
  
Rylie Jones finished 16th overall in the 100-yard free after touching the wall in 52.10 seconds.
 
Two Vandals scored in the B final of the 200-yard breaststroke. 
Laura Rodriguez-Fernandez clocked in at 2:20.15 to finish 13th while 
Holly Keir was 15th in 2:20.32.
Caitlin Smith recorded the highest finish for Idaho in the 200-yard fly, posting a time of 2:08.91 to place 16th overall. 
Bindi Pedersen followed in 17th (2:06.98). 
 
Zoe Froh earned a sixth-place finish in the 1650-yard freestyle event with a time of 17:10.58 while teammates 
Alexa Teneyck placed 17th overall in 17:34.60 and 
Amelia Buyers finished 20th in 17:42.12.
The 400-yard freestyle relay squad of R. Jones, Haskins, Krieg and Phung placed fifth in 3:25.52.
Idaho went 1-2 in the consolation final of the platform diving competition, as 
Emily Mack placed first (220.20) and 
Heather Hopkins finished runner up (202.80). 
The Vandals finished the swimming and diving championships with 336 points. Northern Arizona earned first with 770 points.
