MOSCOW, Idaho – The Idaho men's tennis team will take on the Texas Longhorns (16-10) in the first round of the NCAA tournament on Friday, May 6 in Austin, Texas. The match is scheduled to get underway at 10 a.m. Central Time from the Texas Tennis Center.
The Vandals won their ninth consecutive match to earn the program's 14th conference championship this past weekend in Phoenix. Idaho fought back to defeat Montana State 4-3 in the Big Sky Tournament final, increasing their record to 13-10 (7-1 BSC) on the year.
The Vandals will make its fifth appearance in the NCAA tournament over the last eight years, and first since 2018. If Idaho advances, they will match up against the winner of No. 20 SMU and No. 33 LSU on Saturday, May 7.
