MOSCOW, Idaho – The Idaho swimming and diving team was selected to the College Swimming Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) Scholar All-American Team for the spring 2022 semester, announced by CSCAA on Monday.
"We are extremely proud of the academic achievements of these outstanding women," Idaho head coach
Mark Sowa said. "They continue to strive for excellence in all they do not because it is expected but because it is who they are. Our coaching staff feels lucky to get to work alongside them every day in this journey."
Idaho swimming and diving was recognized by the organization for the second-consecutive semester and 12th time since 2015.
The Vandals finished with a 3.34 overall Grade Point Average (GPA) for the spring semester which included eight student-athletes that carried a 4.0 GPA.
Founded in 1922, the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA), is the nation's first organization of college coaches. The mission of the CSCAA is to advance the sport of swimming and diving with coaches at the epicenter of leadership, advocacy, and professional development.
