MOSCOW, Idaho- On Monday, Idaho Swim and Dive announced the schedule for the 2025-26 season.
September 27th will officially mark the Vandals' first live action as a member of the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation (MPSF), after recording one of the best team finishes at a conference tournament in recent years, punctuated by Ginger Kiefer rewriting the record books once again en route to three individual WAC titles.
In February, it was announced that Idaho would depart the WAC after eighteen seasons, joining Cal Baptist, New Mexico State, Northern Arizona, Northern Colorado, Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV), and Utah Tech as new members of the MPSF after the former conference concluded sponsorship of swimming and diving.
The Vandals will stay in-state to open the 2025 season, traveling to Caldwell for a head-to-head meet with College of Idaho on Sep. 27. Many familiar opponents from last year will be seen once again, as UI opened up competition with the Yotes in 2024 as well. Northern Colorado, Northern Arizona, Seattle U, Utah Tech, and Washington State highlight other foes from the previous year who are featured again in 2025.
New faces on the schedule include Denver, Colorado State, and USC. Idaho will also be hosting the Northwest Collegiate Invite in Boise from Nov. 21-23. More details regarding the invite will be announced at a later date.
