MOSCOW, Idaho -- The Idaho swimming and diving program signed 11 new additions to join the team for the 2024-25 season, announced by head coach Mark Sowa.
Courtney Crawford (Phoenix, Ariz.), Jaidan Engle (Queen Creek, Ariz.), Kaitley Hafer (Aurora, Colo.), Sienna Lefeber (Bend, Ore.), Holly Lenarz (Sartell, Minn.), Marie Mason (Beavercreek, Ore.), Adelaide McRoberts (Kingsford, Mich.), Rylie Moxham (Bakersfield, Calif.), Caleigh Stoddard (Edmond, Okla.), Andie Wieber (Portland, Ore.) and Charlie Zollinger (Waxhaw, N.C.) all signed national letters-of-intent to swim at Idaho next season.
Courtney Crawford
Hailing from Phoenix, Arizona, Courtney Crawford joins the Vandals after being a four-year varsity letter winner at Desert Vista High School under head coach Bowen Johnson. She specialized in the breaststroke and individual medley events at Desert Vista, earning All-City honors all four seasons and nine top 3 finishes throughout her high school career. Crawford recorded first-place finishes in the 200-yard medley relay and 100-yard breaststroke in consecutive seasons over her junior and senior years.
Crawford's individual success correlated to team success, as she was a key cog in leading Desert Vista to a 2023-24 Arizona State Championship.
Jaidan Engle
From Queen Creek, Arizona, Jaidan Engle is the second swimmer to commit to Idaho out of the state of Arizona. Engle, swimming at Casteel High School, was a four-year varsity letter winner under head coach Leo Hass. She left a lasting legacy in her time at Casteel, breaking school records in the 100 back, 200 medley relay and 400 medley relay.
She led the Colts to three top 5 state finishes from her sophomore to senior year while achieving fourth place in 2021 and 2023. Outside of high school competition, Engle swam for the Swim Neptune club team.
Kaitlyn Hafer
An Aurora, Colorado native, Kaitlyn Hafer joins the Vandals after swimming as a four-year varsity letter winner at Grandview High School. During her prep career, she also swam for the Denver Swim Academy club team, specializing in the 100 and 200 breaststroke.
Sienna Lefeber
Hailing from Bend, Oregon, Sienna Lefeber comes to the Palouse after competing on varsity at Mountain View High School for four seasons under head coach Annie Warzecha. During her prep career, Lefeber helped lead the Cougars to the Oregon 5A Swimming State Championship in 2023 and went on to capture a school record in the 400 medley relay.
Holly Lenarz
From Sartell, Minnesota, Holly Lenarz will look to make an impact in the freestyle and distance events. Swimming for Sartell High School, Lenarz earned multiple honors, including becoming a Section 8AA record holder in the 500 free, Most Valuable Player in 2022, 2018-2023 Central Lakes All-Conference recipient and Minnesota All-State swimmer from 2019-2023.
Lenarz also swam for Central Minnesota Aquatics and St. Cloud YMCA during her prep career. She was a team captain for her Sartell in 2023
Marie Mason
A Beavercreek, Oregon native, Maria Mason commits to Idaho after swimming for four years at Molalla High School. She competed in the individual medley and distance freestyle events, where she was a 200 IM and 500 free state champion in 2023. Her two individual victories helped lead the Indians to a seventh-place finish at the Oregon State Swimming Championships.
Adelaide McRoberts
Adelaide McRoberts makes her way from Kingsford, Michigan to Moscow to begin her collegiate journey as a Vandal. She is a two-year varsity letter winner and 2023-24 team captain at Kingsford High School under head coach Jim Lindstrom. During her prep career, McRoberts stacked up multiple school records in the 100 Butterfly, 100 Breaststroke, 50 Freestyle and 200 Freestyle, and went on to earn Michigan All-Conference First Team honors in 2020.
McRoberts also showed out at the Upper Peninsula Swimming Championships, earning top finishes in four individual events in 2021 and 2022 - 50 freestyle, 100 butterfly, 100 backstroke and 200 IM. Her outstanding performances earned her U.P. Swimmer of the Year. McRoberts looks to make an immediate impact in the individual medley and butterfly events.
Rylie Moxham
From Bakersfield, California, Rylie Moxham joins the swimming and diving program at Idaho after competing for four seasons at Liberty High School and the Ace Aquatics club team. She helped lead her team to the state title in 2022 and 2023. She also holds current school records in the 200 freestyle relay and the 200 medley relay.
Caleigh Stoddard
A product of Edmond, Oklahoma, Caleigh Stoddard competed on the varsity swimming team at Edmond North High School for four seasons, where she was a team captain for two years (2022-24) and specialized in the breaststroke and individual medley events. She held two school records in the 200 medley relay and 400 freestyle relay, while being an All-City First and Second Team recipient in 2022 and 2023 in the 100 breaststroke. Stoddard was also selected as a Swimmer of the Year nominee (2023).
Andie Wieber
From Portland, Oregon, Andie Wieber commits to Idaho after competing as a three-year varsity letter winner at Ida B. Wells High School. The backstroke and freestyle specialist was a district champion in the 100 backstroke and 100 butterfly in 2023. She went on to earn a spot in two state championship meets throughout her prep career. Outside of high school competition, Wieber competed for the Multnomah Athletic Club team.
Charlie Zollinger
A Waxhaw, North Carolina native, Charlie Zollinger joins the Vandals after competing at Cuthbertson High School as a four-year varsity letter winner and team captain (2023-24). During her prep career, Zollinger went on to earn All-Conference, ESPY Swimming Cavalier Pride Award, ESPY Cavalier Comeback Athlete of the Year Award and All-Conference Honorable Mention honors.
Outside of swimming for the Cavaliers, she swam for the Mecklenburg Swim Association, where she helped lead the team to a North Carolina Summer Senior Championships in 2021.
