Schraeder & Matthews Advance to ITA Sectionals

MOSCOW, Idaho – Idaho's power duo Naomi Schraeder and Jessica Matthews are set to compete in the 2025 Sectional Championships, hosted by the University of Washington from Nov. 6–9.

The opportunity stems from their strong performance at the ITA Mountain Regional Championship in early October. The duo excelled in doubles play, earning a first-round bye and picking up three wins over Idaho State, Brigham Young University, and Colorado.

The Sectionals Championship will feature a single-elimination draw up to the semifinals, with a playoff for 3rd and 4th place. Matches will be played in a best 2-out-of-3 sets format. The top three duos will advance to the National Championship in Orlando, Florida, from Nov. 18–23.
