MOSCOW, Idaho - The Idaho women's tennis team opened Big Sky Tournament play with a strong showing, sweeping Portland State 4-0 to advance to the semifinals.
The Vandals wasted no time setting the tone, grabbing the doubles point with convincing wins across the board. The duo of
Diana Khaydarshina and
Hanna Koprowska led the charge on court three, followed by a strong showing from
Valentina Rodas Naomi Schraeder on court one. Both duos secured 6-2 wins, securing the first point for Idaho.
The black and gold carried that momentum into singles action. Koprowska delivered a quick two-set win to extend the lead, followed by a composed effort from
Naomi Schraeder to make it 3-0.
Annabel Davis finished the job on court two, sealing the victory for the Vandals to complete the sweep.
