MOSCOW, Idaho -- Idaho Cross Country continues its 2025 campaign on Friday night at the Montana Invite. The women's 5K opens the festivities at 4:45 p.m. PDT, with the men's 8K set to start at 5:30 p.m. PDT.
The Vandals will face off against fellow Big Sky schools Montana and Idaho State, as well as the NAIA nationally ranked Carroll College Saints, and six other teams from the Treasure State.
Alex Terry highlights the Vandal women competing this weekend. The Boise High graduate opened her sophomore year with a 4K time of 14:31.9 at the Clash of the Inland Northwest. Junior
Mary Nakumura made her debut for the Black and Gold in Cheney, placing 14th and crossing the line in 14:58. Sophomores
Sara Casebolt and
Pia Kircher, and senior
Abigail Thomas round out the five Idaho representatives in Missoula.
On the men's side, Idaho is rolling with nearly an identical roster as meet one, with
Tyler Graff being the only man set to make his 2025 debut in Zootown.
Zac Knapp and
Miles Ferguson led the way for the Vandals in August's season opener, finishing within five seconds of each other and taking the 12th and 13th spots, respectively. Five freshmen will be running their first competitive 8K race on Friday.

The Vandals will open the second half of their season at the Williamette Invitational on October 4.
