MOSCOW, Idaho - Idaho women's tennis travels back across the border with a win from the Cougar Classic tournament hosted by Washington State over the weekend.

Bringing a title home for the Vandals was the dynamic duo Chenyue Xu and Soha Singh, who won their draw (B), defeating Eastern Washington 8-5 in the finals on Sunday. This marked their second weekend in a row making it to the tournament finals.

Seeing individual success, Singh went 5-1 in this weekend's singles play, while her counterpart Xu went undefeated in her six matches.

Another Vandal victory stemmed from a duo of Valentina Rodas and Mariam Hatem Ibrahim, who clinched an 8-7 class win over Portland in the A draw.
