Vandals Continue Opening Week in Arizona vs. Grand Canyon

MOSCOW, Idaho - After dropping the opening contest of the season to a tough Arizona State squad, Idaho men's tennis (0-1) will stay in the Grand Canyon state for a pair of matchups with the landmark's eponymous institution, taking on Grand Canyon University twice on Wednesday, Jan. 14.

Numerous Vandals made their debuts in black and gold, including Sander Paradis, Paul Janson, Mikolaj Lis, and Xavier Martin Roca, as Idaho opened its season vs. a power four opponent for the second time in three seasons.

Grand Canyon (0-0) will be opening its spring season vs. the Vandals on Wednesday. The Antelopes were one of the strongest teams in college tennis on their own court last year, going 12-3 in the GCU Tennis Facility en route to a 13-7 season. They split results vs. Big Sky opposition in 2025, knocking off Montana State, 5-2, before falling to Montana, 3-4.

There will be two total matches, with the first tipping off at 10:30 AM MT and the second at 2:30 PM MT. Live Stats can be found at govandals.com
