MOSCOW, Idaho– Idaho women's tennis kicks off its 2026 season on Sunday January 18th, at 11 am in the P1FCU Kibbie Dome.
Washington State and Idaho have competed 18 times since 2002. The last time the two teams went head-to-head, the Cougars walked away with the 6-1 victory.
The Vandals have five returning athletes and three transfers to make up the roster for this upcoming season. The four returners include: Ida Johansson, Hanna Koprowska, Valentina Rodas, Naomi Schraeder and Chenyue Xu. New to the Vandal squad this year are transfers, Mariam Hatem Ibrahim, Jessica Matthews, Soha Singh.
The Vandals look to compile the talent they kept from last season with the talent from the transfer portal to lock in the first win of the season for the Black and Gold.

UP NEXT: Idaho will travel to Eugene, Oregon on January 24th for the Duck Invitational hosted by the University of Oregon. The Vandals will compete against the host team and New Mexico State.
