Idaho Returns Home to Face Seattle U

MOSCOW, Idaho - Idaho Swim and Dive will return home to host Seattle U on Friday, Oct. 9. Coming off a strong victory in Caldwell, the Vandals will look to keep the momentum going in their second dual meet of the season.

Seattle U is in its first year back in the MPSF Conference, alongside CSU Bakersfield, UC San Diego, UC Santa Barbara, Denver, and San Diego. Idaho became a member of the MPSF last season after previously competing in the WAC.

Idaho has won 13 in a row against the Redhawks dating back to 2012, winning the matchup last year 197-65. Senior Isabelle Borke had top finishes in the 200 Y Individual Medley (2:10.24), 200 Y Freestyle (1:55.84), and 100 Y Freestyle (52.76), while Courtney Crawford took home wins in the 200 Y Breaststroke (2:23.18) and 100 Y Breaststroke (1:05.32).

The Vandals will look to build off their strong start while facing a MPSF opponent. The matchup gives Idaho an early opportunity to test itself against conference competition and continue building momentum.

Diving is scheduled to begin at 2:30 p.m. PT, with swimming following at 4:30 p.m. PT. Results can be tracked on MeetMobile and will be published on govandals.com following the conclusion of the meet.
