Idaho (2-5, 0-0) vs. Linfield (0-0, 0-0)
MOSCOW, Idaho – Idaho Men's Tennis team will travel down to Boise to take on Boise State and Linfield in two days of matches.
The Vandals will go up against the Boise State Broncos first on Friday at 5 p.m. MT. The following day, the Vandals will tackle a double-header, playing Linfield and then Boise State at 9 a.m. MT and 5 p.m. MT, respectively.
Boise State has started their season facing high-level opponents, Princeton and Georgia, dropping both matches. Their lone win this season comes from a 4-1 win over UT Arlington in their most recent match. Last year, the Broncos had a perfect 10-0 record at home. They fell just short of winning the Mountain West Conference and went on to play No. 11 Cal in the NCAA Tournament, falling to the Golden Bears 1-4.
The Linfield Wildcats will open their season this weekend in Boise, with their first match against Boise State. Last season, the Wildcats finished their year with a 4-15 record and went 4-10 in the Northwest Conference.
