MOSCOW, Idaho– The Idaho Vandals fell to the Idaho State Bengals 0-7 on Sunday morning in the P1FCU Kibbie Dome. Idaho's record moved to 8-7 overall and 3-1 in the Big Sky conference.
The Vandals entered another weekend of conference play against a strong Bengals team. The Black and Gold fought hard in doubles play but Idaho State was able to stick it through and win the doubles point. Moving into singles play, the Bengals displayed a strong performance, winning five of the six matches. The remaining match went unfinished due to a Vandal player injury and the contest ended 7-0 in favor of Idaho State. Despite the loss, the Black and Gold fought hard in every point and grew stronger for the matches to come.
